Stand by Ukraine Benefit Concert

In the midst of war and destruction, hope and compassion can still shine through. This was certainly the case on 4/17/2022 when Claire Youn and Katie Liu came together to organize a benefit concert for the children suffering in the Russia-Ukraine War. With a strong desire to offer support to the impacted communities, these musicians wanted to make a difference in the lives of those affected by the devastating and unnecessary violence in Ukraine.

Despite the chaos and turmoil of war, these musicians persevered in their mission to help others. The benefit concert proved to be a huge success, attracting attention from the community and beyond. Major news stations, including Fox, Koin 6, and KGW, broadcasted the concert, spreading awareness about the cause and inspiring others to get involved.

The concert raised an impressive $7,525 for Unicef, which will go towards providing aid and support to the children and families impacted by the war. This generous donation is a testament to the power of unity and compassion in times of hardship.

The young musicians who organized this benefit concert have set an inspiring example for us all. They have shown us that even in the darkest of times, there is still hope for a better future. They remind us that we all have the power to make a difference in the world, no matter how big or small our actions may seem.

Let us all take a moment to reflect on the selflessness and generosity of these musicians, and let their actions inspire us to come together and make a positive impact in the world.
